The purpose of Prosearch Europe is to advise Latin American universities on several topics related to research management and policies in order to harmonize its organisation and governance with current international practices.

Prosearch Europe also fosters the participation of non-EU researchers, in particular those from Latin America, in calls from the European Union’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (FP), presently Horizon Europe. The FP is the world’s largest research programme, several of which calls are open to non-European countries in collaboration with organisations from Europe or associated countries. Prosearch Europe connects researchers from outside the EU with their European counterparts to submit proposals for collaboration.
